Frequency Of Knowing

The Frequency Of Knowing is that vibration you tap into where you just know something. Its not an educated guess, not a sophisticated surmise. Its information downloaded to you from the Universe. You just know.

Some would call it intuition, some would call it tapping into source energy, some would call it a message from God. Whatever you call it, its information that just shows up.

The first evening Roberta (my wife) and I hung around together, we knew (and perhaps recognized). At any rate, we realized we were tapped into the Frequency Of Knowing (her phrase, by the way). Ever since then, we’ve been totally connected to each other. And even though sometimes we go through rough times, we know there is a deeper connection that binds, something underneath everything else that continues to resonate. And we still have that Frequency Of Knowing.

Some technical notes: I play (or program) everything except an acoustic guitar part, which was played by my pal, Yves Vincent. His guitar part is the very percussive part, and he plays the solo in the second verse. I use a lot of panning and delay effects on this tune; the result is very dreamy quality.

Also, note the use of the Morley wah-wah halfway through the sax solo in the end. I love playing through the wah-wah…it sounds so cool!
